About
岩渕早苗
和紙立体作家
大阪府在住。詩の創作活動を原点に、
アートスクールや彫刻研究所にて彫刻を学ぶ。
木の塊を削り出してきた日々を糧に、
現在は和紙を重ねた立体作品を制作。
形の中に宿る静けさや光を求めて、
個展やグループ展を中心に活動中。
Sanae iwabuchi
Washi Sculpture Artist
Based in Osaka. Initially inspired by writing poetry,
she studied sculpture at art schools and a sculpture
research institute. Valuing her experience in
carving wood, she now creates three-dimensional
works layered with washi (Japanese paper).
Seeking the stillness and light that dwell within
form, she presents her work mainly in solo and
group exhibitions.
